If, as the captions suggest, Dusty Anderson is on the covers of all those magazines and each is a different magazine, she must have racked up an awful lot of covers in her few years of modeling! And what a clever piece of publicity, promoting Columbia’s upcoming movie and at the same time tapping into the drive to support the US’s war effort. Both photos have the same caption:
COVER GIRL – Dusty Anderson donated her personal collection of magazines, with her picture on the cover, to the waste paper drive. Dusty, who will be seen in the Columbia picture, “Cover Girl,” was one of New York’s famed models before coming to Hollywood.
