1956. Odile Rodin is well aware of her greatest assets and dresses to set them off to perfection. Born Odile Bérard, she has adopted the artistic name of Rodin to acknowlege the beauty of her body by referencing the famous French sculptor Auguste Rodin. Now, aged 19, she prepares to appear in a play by Marcel Pagnol. Later this year, she will become the fifth and final wife of Porfirio Rubirosa, a Dominican diplomat, racing car driver and polo player. And that will be the end of her brief acting career. Her maid, in an almost identical posture behind her, is like a presage of what time will bring.
