1967. Though uncredited, Suzy Kendall plays the role of Prue, one of the casino patrons in Thunderball. She trained as a fashion designer and worked as a model to help pay for her studies. The modelling led to offers of TV and film roles.
From modest beginnings her career builds: between 1964 and 1977 she acquires 29 credits on IMDb. In 1968 she marries Dudley Moore, who persuades her to accept the title role in Fraulein Doktor, for which this photo is publicity:
“Fraulein Doktor”, Paramount Pictures’ action-drama of World War I in which she portrays the real-life super-intelligent girl who was Germany’s top secret agent during that conflict, will offer Suzy Kendall her most challenging screen role to date.
In the film directed by Alberto Lattuada, Suzy stars opposite Kenneth More, James Booth, Alexander Knox and Nigel Green.
Last year Suzy Kendall starred in four major films: “To Sir, with Love”, “Thirty is a Dangerous Age, Cinthia”, “The Penthouse” and “Up the Junction”.
